Gloria Jean's Studio if Dance has built an international reputation for producing some of the finest competitive dancers in the United States. This optional program is specifically designed for the student who stives to be the best dancer they can be. It is a more intensive program with "unlimited class" opportunities and a summer program that will insure the best dance education possible.

Members of the team have the opportunity to participate in regional, national and international competitions as well as performing for organizations, local parades and community events throughout the area. DanStarZ team members have appeared on national television, including Good Morning America, the Donny and Marie Show, the Morning Show with Bryant Gumble, and CBS Saturday Morning.

The DanStarZ Dance Team members have received top honors for more than three decades. Members have been honored with the title "World Tap Dance Champions" presented by the International Dance Organization in Germany. They have received the Gold Damily Award of Excellence five times and are constant recipients of "titles" from every major dance organization in the United States.

Many "team" members have gone on to professional careers throughout the industry. Some are performing on Broadway, in ballet companies, at Disney World, and others have gone on to become dance educators and studio owners. Gloria Jean's Studio of Dance offers several teams spanning from the pre-school to senior age levels. All interested students audition in the fall and remain a member of the team for the entire season.
